Hood River Intermediate Paddling Lessons 
Take a lesson while the Hood is still flowing (into early June usually). Work on technical river running in continuous whitewater. Skills addressed will be safety, river reading, boofing, and running awesome continuous whitewater.
We are able to take students on:
Class 4 West Fork of the Hood.
Class 4- Dee to Tucker
Class 3+ Lower Hood

Full-Day Intermediate Paddling Lessons
The Intermediate River class was developed for students who have been paddling for a while but are not confident in reading whitewater, are unsure about moving up in river difficulty, or would like more time with an instructor to refine various skills. Our instructors are professional level kayakers who can teach you any of the skills you would like to learn.
This class will start out with a session in our private pool that will cover skills such as rolling, paddling, and effective bracing strokes. In the afternoon we will paddle the Klickitat River and focus on advanced river running techniques such as utilizing aggressive eddies, making harder ferries, punching big holes, and surfing waves.
